Bulls and human victims

My name is Carolina Espejo. I am vegan and a musician. Among other things.

In the village where I am residing at the moment, a young man was killed yesterday by a bull during the shameful local celebrations. Everybody is now excited and living up to the communal created drama. They finally feel something intense is happening in their dull lives.

TV cameras wonder around the village, and they all feel suddenly very important and objects of attention.

What this sadistic people do not seem to understand is that having as the "main course" of their fiestas the bull rodeo or bull chasing is, to start with, a barbaric and most shameful action.

The poor animal literally freaks out chased and pushed by these sociopathic people, whose compassion is so blinded and their emotional wiring so burnt out, that they actually enjoy and have fun by causing suffering, stress, mistreatment, pain and death to such an innocent and beautiful creature. They indeed enjoy death and drama in all its forms, and, being animals the most innocent ones, they abuse them with barely no limits at all. Today local people have another victim (human this time), so they are enjoying in this sick way even a bit more than usual.

If someone gets killed in the process of a cruel bull street chasing, well.. who cares? Not even the same people who now pretend, mourning and feeling so shocked and hurting so much for the deceased young boy,s family and so on.....not even they really care about humans to start with, otherwise they would never allow this kind of actions to take place, as they involve serious risk to people also.

I guess that now the poor bull, in a desperate action of self-defense, will be depicted as the evil one, the violent one and the dangerous one, in a clear and obvious ACTION OF REVERSING FACTS. The victimisers just project their own violence into the bull, and FORGET OR DISSIMULATE the fact that they have created all the suffering to start with, by depriving the bull of dignity and using him as a most shameful object of cruel enjoyment. Once they create the anger and the stress and break the integrity of the animal, then, and only then, claim, as only a dumb person could possibly do, that the poor creature is brave and dangerous, brutal and attacking, and so the fiesta is justified.

Only people without logics and compassion could really argue something like that, but they still do.
In domestic violence court cases the same tactique can be appreciated many times at play: men just push their partners to extreme and shocking situations with constant bullying, menacing, insulting or family neglecting, and, when victimized women logically react WITHIN the acute stress suffered consequently by their ex's actions, and they express natural anger or loss of control, then victimizers try to depict them as witches, crazy, dictatorial, bad-tempered or wicked persons. The bound in between sexism and animal abuse is so clear, that, once more, the intersectionality of violence is proved. You can not be a carnist and avoid violence reappearing somewhere else: in women, in dark races, in polithics,,,,,everywhere.....peace is peace. It is an absolute. Certain things are absolutes: you either are pregnant or you are not. You either respected a person or you did not. You can not be partially pregnant. You can not partially kill someone. You can not partially respect a person. It is either one thing or another. Some things in life have an absolute quality to them. And eating animals is totally wrong and therefore causes consequences that are totally wrong. It is simple, as all truths are.

Sounds familiar? Bulls, sexism, victimizing....the same crazy mechanism that keeps us apart from peace and kills us all at the end: kills our bodies, our dreams, our peace, our environment, our morals, our life.

You shall not kill. Respect all types of lifes, without exceptions.

Self-defence is a righteous act: the bull acted in self-defence. He is the innocent one. He was always the innocent one. And we must protect innocence above all things.
